My Life

After Lucinda had taken stock of her life, she felt miserable. On the one hand she felt blessed having a loving husband and three kids at her side but on the other hand, she missed the goal she had set for herself years before she got married. She had a great career in mind.

She prayed, “Lord, I am thankful but, my life… is this it? Looking back, it seems so unfulfilled, empty and short of meaning. I wanted so much more.”

Jesus softly touched her and said, “My child, you have achieved so much already.”

“You are making the same mistake so many people do by thinking that life ends when you die.”

“This life is only the beginning.”

“I am busy preparing a home for you in heaven and do you realise it will be a mansion, built for you only.” (John 14:2,3)

“This mansion and surroundings will fit you like a glove but spacious and perfect. It will only be finished when you die because your life dictates the layout and appearance.”

“Something else you fail to realise is that although you are married with beautiful children, your home in heaven will be for you alone. There are no marriages in heaven.” (Mat 22:30)

“Your husband and children will each receive their own perfect space when they arrive.”

“Your life in heaven will not be for idle resting in a luxurious environment. There will be no laborious work, but you will have responsibilities to develop many things with Me and receive authority over certain things.” (Luke 19:17)

“Your life on earth is the beginning of your true everlasting life. Stop comparing yourself to people around you. Be your own true self and live a life bursting with joy!”

“Remember child, you are part of My life too. Your family is important but your main purpose in life is to live with Me. Take a new, good look at yourself. I love you just as you are.”
