Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. (Psalm 33:1)
By the Word of God, the heavens were made and all the hosts of them by the breath of His mouth. (Psalm 33:6)
Jesus Christ was with God when everything was made, in fact, without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:3)
The earth is filled with the testimonies of God’s goodness, the exquisiteness of every creature made, the beauty of man, laughing children, trees and flowers, animals and birds. Green pastures, deep blue sea and white clouds.
Every day the earth is filled with the hustle and bustle of mankind. Sometimes the noise is unbearable. However, it is empty of praise. Silence of praise rests heavily upon the face of the earth.
When God and Jesus created everything, they saw that it was good. When they created man, they saw he was perfect.
In anticipation they watched man as he gazed at creation for the first time. Did God see the expression of awe on his face, his smile, the tears of joy running down his cheeks?
We are alive in this modern age on this beautiful earth and we are washed clean by the blood of Jesus and yet, we keep silent.
How disappointing it must be for God to look at us. No sign of joy and appreciation! The noise that we do make is not praise. Our praise is silent….
Some of us sing songs which is good but some of these songs are so old and by frequent use have become torn and worn. Every day is a new day. God wants our songs to be new too, (Psalm 33:3) from a joyful heart.
We are alive! We are righteous!
Break the silence! Praise God, worship Him, sing to Him, enjoy His presence and love Him! Talk to Him!
