The Air that you Breathe

I was seeking the face of God when Jesus told me, “You may go and you may come but remember to breathe.”

I did not understand what His words meant and therefore He told me to look at Romans 15:13 closely.

Romans 15:13: Now may the God of hope – Fill you – with all the joy and peace – in believing – that you may abound in hope (Receive what you ask) – by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Why are You giving me this, Lord?”

“You are living in a broken world in which you need to go out to do the things you need to do and then you come to Me for assistance but in doing so, you often forget to breathe. The Air is the Holy Spirit.”

“People often come to Me, believing while asking the Father for miracles in My Name. However, faith is born by breathing the Air of the Holy Spirit.”

“People tend to put the Holy Spirit at an inferior level, and consequently they don’t succeed.”

“Many focus on believing in faith that abounds in hope but in their mind, the power of the Holy Spirit is mentioned only casually in Romans 15, because He obviously is present anyway. According to them, all the Spirit needs to do, is to act as an agent, operating as a conductor between us and God to have miracles come alive in the believer’s life. That is not correct.”

“Read that verse from back to the front and you will notice a new emphasis placed on the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of God.”

Romans 15:13: By the power of the Holy Spirit – you abound in hope – believing – being filled with all the joy and peace – that comes from God.”

“You need the air of the Holy Spirit first of all. Breathe Him in every second whether you are coming or going. He is in you but He is also the Air that you breathe. Without Him, your hope of miracles coming to pass in your life will suffocate and die.”
